Jade Plant Edible for Russian Tortoise?!

Hi, I just got a jade plant from petco, I know some jade plants are edible but is this certain jade plant edible!

The type of plant is just fine, my worry would be if it has been treated with chemicals and/or fertilized.

I would think from Petco would be safe, but do they say any place that it is free from those kinds of things?

I bought it from PETCO so I dont think they would put any chemicals on it

I would clean it regards of where you got it. Petco sells ground walnut shells and says its safe for a substrate. Better safe than sorry, yes?
