I watched my big male babcocki who ate fruit of opuntia and when he eats, I see him once the juice out through the nose.
I know that the mouth and nose communicate but I was wondering if there was a risk?
I do not think so, but I would like opinions.
For those who have Pardalis at home, have you ever seen it?

The nose in a tortoise (most often called "nares") actually end in the roof of the mouth. They do not connect to the throat or lungs directly. Fluid going in and out of the nose is no concern.

I have seen water squirt out their noses when they drink, kind of comical ;)
