Hey everybody,
I made a post on here for a potential habitat for my baby leopard tortoise that I plan on getting. It got mixed reviews on whether it was big enough or not so I decided to just go bigger since it can't hurt. I have a bookshelf that is 71.5" x 28" inches and I was wondering if I could use that as the enclosure? I planned on only getting one leopard tortoise now and then later on getting two or more so that fighting and bullying would be kept to a minimum.

Young leopard tortoises need lots of humidity, (80-90%) so an open top enclosure will not suffice. If you have some way to cover the top then yes, it will work.

That will be a good size, and work for a baby for a coupe of years, depending on how fast it grows.
