Life without Lele

Sadly this past Saturday I lost one of my dear Russian Tortoises by the name of Lele she sadly passed away. Lele was the life of the party she was so sweet! So much fun! She was curious and she was so kind... her and I truly bonded she would rest in the palm of my hands so this really tore me up. I have 3 Tortoises left
Glitter, Trey and now LeRoy. My father got LeRoy for me this past Sunday to help with the loss but I'm still sad over Lele. This week I will be getting all three checked. LeRoy has watery eyes so I want to get on top of it immediately. I want to provide the best life possible for these three please give any suggestions you have. I feel so blessed to apart of this community.

I'm so sorry to hear about Lele. It sounds like you two were exceptionally close.

It would be nice to hear more about her...how old was she? Do you have any idea why she died?

Are your other torts all Russians? Do they live together?

Sorry about all the questions...we just never know when we all might learn from a sad circumstance like Lele.
