I have a temporary storage container for my red foot. Until my kids see her on christmas she will be there. As of now I am using a heat emitter on one end where her house is and on the other end is a sun glo bulb. The temp at night is about 80 and 77. During the day 85 and 80. Is this appropriate?

The hotspot during the day should be about 95-100*F and cool side off 75-80*F im not sure on night time temps as i just let my temps drop!
Also humidity- 80% throughout!

There are some of us that disagree with portions the information provided in the link above, but overall it's a good general guideline. I'd encourage more exploration into some other sites (listed below) and if you want to get one of the best sources of information on raising Redfoots, a copy of Mike Pingleton's book (http://www.pingleton.com/redfoot/redfoots.htm). Your temps seem okay, perhaps bump them up a tad (80 cool end, 90 warm end, or ~85 throughout) just be sure to pay attention to humidity as Tyler mentioned. Some of us like a temp gradient, other highly respected and well versed keepers do not use them and have perfectly healthy animals.
