Some decided to come out after the latest afternoon storm. Nothing cleans them off like a hard Florida storm.

Gorgeous torts you have there! We've been having quite the rain storm here in AZ as well.

You can have my rain! I wasn't ready for it and now I have a house full of tortoises. Stupid Oregon weather....

They DO LOVE THE RAIN.
Mine are very drab in comparison
There is something to be said about those with little color. That female (?) second from the right is very neat looking. The northern have cooler patterns than the cherries, the red makes the cherries pop more though. Still a nice group! Any luck with the breeding this year?

No.
Three batches of tiny duds.
There is a lot of activity though, so I'm hopeful for next season. It's a young group.
I've had an incubator ready for a year now.

I understand Florida rain. I took Ginger out after it poured and now she's all muddy with grass stuck to her face. ;) Beautiful tortoises, and such pretty colors!

Your torts look fantastic Alegra. We've been getting away with no rain, and the warm weather is only just leaving us, mid 60's yesterday and dropped to 40 last night, so winter on its way now.
What I'd give to have your climate.
Keep the photos coming.

Always good to see some fine looking tortoises. By "fine looking" I truly mean exceptional! It is amazing what that rain has done for cleaning them off... I don't think your previous pictures of Bonita quite give that tortoise the credit she deserves. Wholly smokes!!! Also, are Joe Terry Girl & Wicked paired up? They'd make a nice Bonnie & Clyde.

Good luck with the breeding @ZEROPILOT. Persistence and patience seem to be my greatest allies when I'm trying to get what I want. I did chuckle at your one-year-ready incubator...

Great photos. Thanks for sharing. Wicked really is wicked looking! Let's hope hurricane Matthew only brings some rain.

Better safe than sorry. With so many we just brought everyone inside. They are not amused to be crammed in so tight but other things needed to be put in the garage as well. Also found another hatchling while picking everyone up. We are up to three feral babies.

Wow! Even though it's cramped, it's pretty cool to see so many. You need my address to ship those feral babies ;)
