millet seeds for tortoise bedding?

I have a night time hide box for my Dalmatian hermann's tortoises/ uromastyx. Can use millet seeds in there for them? Or is bad for the tortoises if they eat them?

Definitely don’t use it. Your tortoise needs a damp, earthy substrate like coco coir, peat moss, orchid bark, or cypress mulch.

Is your tortoise living with your Uromastyx?
