Florida box turtle - "Say...What???"

You've got that right. This time of year they are in full active nice too. They just crack me up.

Very Nice, All I have are easterns and they all are not up yet, As I spot the males they are removed from where they winter to give the females a break. I have only found 3 males so far. Your easterns look female,and the yellow phase which is the least found color around here.

I have around 5 females and only one male and with the exception of the beautiful red head and neck on the male, they're all just plain with no color. But I just love the design on the carapace.

I see a lot of the red and bright orange males around here, but very few males with the bright yellow colors. The male eastern that is in 2015 calender is local here. Here is a pic taken today of a local female that just recently came up. I do enjoy the different colors they can have.
