Mold?

I noticed white specks on our substrate. Is this probably mold? And how do I get rid of it?

It's some kind of fungus.
Just remove that area of substrate.

Yep, just spot clean those areas. Toss, and replace with some new substrate. There are all kinds of fungus, mold, mildew “spores” floating about there. Our warm, humid enclosures provide nice incubators.
