Does the last one have spikes on them I can't really tell in the pic. And are those leaves because they kinda look like branches.

I'm looking on my itouch on the app so it is small.

Yes the last one is nothing but very long spikes. I am going to have to go back out tomorrow as far as branches. I believe the branch your seeing is what all the spikes are growing from.I will have to go out tomorrow and get the full picture of it. There are no leaves on this at all

The 5th picture is ,castela emoryi, aka crucifixion thorn. I can't take credit for the ID, someone that lives in Arizona and knows the local fauna told me. Len

I'm not sure of any of them, but I hope someone can identify the 5th one, that is a neat looking plant.

That's almost word-for-word what I would have posted! :D

Thank You so much for identifying. It is truly a unique Bush/tree.. Do you know if something like that could be in an enlosure? Not that I would really want to take a chance and have Phoenix be poked or rather stabbed by it's thorns..But just curious.. Will have to find out how to get the seeds so when we move perhaps I can start my own. I know I have found several thorns with seeds on them on the ground before but never even thought about.."hey they are seeds" LOL... Anyway..again thank you ..

:D Yeah I think we all want starts of that one. Actually none of them are the least bit familiar to me, but I like them. You have some interesting plants in your yard.

Well if anyone cares to tell me how to harvest the seeds the correct way... I would be more than willing to send some to whomever wants them. I wouldn't have a clue on how long it takes them to grow that size. Also I don't know if there are any restrictions of having these in any other states. You know the laws!! haha.. Can't live with them, and can't live without them, haha

Isn't 1st one the same as your other post: creosote bush? but w/flowers? hard to say, pic is a lil blurry ;)

good call on 5th one ??Len??, i was going to say some sort of euphorb, but I think you nailed it :)
