I bought her in 1995 when I lived in Ohio. The fellow I purchased her from gave me his original receipt from when he had bought her, it was from 1986. She was an adult then. I Sold her in 1997 when I moved east. While visiting my parents back in Ohio in 2000, I attended an All Ohio Reptile Show to find her for sale again. I bought her back for double what I had sold her for, the guy wouldn't even cut me a break. It was the same guy I had sold her to years before.

A friend has been caring for my adults redfoots since 2005. I got them back this summer and I am very happy I did.:tort:

So she is probably around 30 or so now. Very cool. I'll bet you were excited to get her back after all this time. Do you think she recognized you?

That's a great story. She looks really sweet. I have a redfoot named Daisy, too.

Wow. what are the chances?

On a side note Ben, the Matamata I purchased from you back in '97 was with me for 12 years. I had to part with her in '09 due to other projects and indoor space constraints. That was pretty hard to do. She is still going strong to this day.
