this so far will be a 4 foot x 2 foot enclosure for my Greek Spur-Thighs, I say so far, because i have already begun thinking bigger before i have started construction.

It will be made of melamine, with plexiglass on the inside bottom and 5 inches up the walls to protect the wood from moisture damage and sealed on the sides and edges with a bead of silicone.

I intend to put in a sod of grass as the substrate with there current "Nom Rock" as i like to call it which is just a large flat square stone i tend to feed them on.

Please find attached the photo's of my plans to date, note they were drawn freehand and photos were taken by phone camera. drafts are not exactly to scale but very close.

I look forward to hearing from you guys =D

Yours Colin

Looks promising. How many torts do you have, and what are their ages?

Thanks guys

I'm so glad you all like it, and it was 1 week and 1 day from start to finnish in the build waiting for some materials and a shared screw gun.

They seem to be loving the ramble around my room as well when my cats not about =D

Thanks again.

Yours,
Colin
