So ive just recently brought a baby Russian Tort and he settled in fast, he was moving about as soon as i put him in his table, but he seems to just be eating the fresh weeds/veg ive been giving him along with his pellets, he just pushes the pellets around?
Ive done my research about diet and food but im just abit worried that he wont get the vitamins he needs without eating the pellets.
Ive attatched a picture of the pellets im using so whoever reads this will know what im feeding him.
Thank you!

WELCOME!
I don't think much of those pellets.
I don't think that they are exactly harmful, just not needed.
Mix up the diet of greens on the care sheet and don't fret over the pellets.

Thank you ! he is a big fan of red leaf lettuce and weeds so i will just have to keep him on that and try something else.

He doesn't eat the pellets?
THAT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!
If he is already eating a varied diet, pellets are sort of unnecassary.
Try mazuri as mentioned, it is better, and tortoises seem to love it.

I throw a Mazuri pellet in my tort's bath every day. If I don't he spends the time fretting. He takes a bite or three and walks away.

Hello, Chelsea and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum.
Varied diet, as per care sheets, is best.
Read, learn, ask questions, contribute and have fun.
Sweet looking tort, but don't like the look of those pellets too much.
Neither did tortie.

Thank you everyone for your answers, i cant believe you al answered so quickly! i will have to try the mazuri , he seems healthy and is active so i suppose i dont have anything to worry about at the moment. Another question was should i get my tort checked out every so often at a vet to see if hes doing well? Id hate for something to go wrong.

I read somewhere on the forum (forgot where) that they supplement with Miner-All. It was about $10 for 6 oz. at my neighborhood pet store.

I would not bother with routine vet visits. It stresses the animal and gives you no real practical information.
