Ever since having 1 leopard I have wanted to get 2 more. I adopted 2 leopards that hatched the same month/year as mine. They were started dry and then purchased by a forum member. She started to raise them humid but will be moving out of the country and needed to re home them.

They now live with me and even though they are the same age there is a bit of a size difference! It doesn't bother me one bit. In fact I'm very excited to use this example at my next CTTC show in August!

Here you can see the size difference.

They have been given the tank/closed chamber. They are in here most of the time with only 2-4 hours outside a day. (Like my leopard was when he was small)

It's official..I'm done. My collection is complete :D
(except for the new turtles I'll have to put in the classroom tank but that's another story)

Haha!

Barb, the smallest one isn't too bad at all. The largest of the babies has the type of pyramiding to be PERFECT example for my presentation. I'll post a profile picture and you'll see what I mean.

I really love em' though. They are perfect for me :)

Awesome and congratulations! I love your education oriented thinking Heather. Vital. Much needed.

Who are you kidding?

"It" is never done. Your collection is never complete. You just haven't found your next one yet. :p

Thanks everyone :)

It sure is something to actually feel the differences between them. Mine is like a solid boulder compared to the new babies. Their plastron is just ever so slightly squishy and has a hollow sound when I knock on it. I'm not worried, they will live a good life here and thrive I'm sure!
More proof of the amazing-ness of raising them humid from the start :D

Here is a profile pic of the "bumpiest" ;)

He will really help me in educating people on the difference in raising dry vs. humid.

I love this little guy. Both babies are wonderful with lots of personality!

So cute! Love the enclosure it's so nicely planted. How big and what's in there?

Thanks!
Its a 40 gallon tank by Zilla converted into a "closed chamber". I have the aquarium wallpaper and fake plants to make it more aesthetically pleasing ;)

Ok, ok, ok. I'll say it now.

I was wrong and you all were right....

Tomorrow I will be picking up a new leopard Hatchling :)
Hey, I needed to raise another one smooth with the hot and humid method since I've been doing presentations on it. I need another living example :p

I'll introduce "her"when I get her. Getting split scutes in hopes for a female.
