:)

Hello again.

Now it works with my pictures !! :D

Rynke is a male leopard, and I had him for 4 1/2 years now.

His weight is 1.850 kg and he is about 20 cm long.

Rumba should be he's new girlfriend, I got her 09.11.2010 - but I am not så sure, she is a she ?!

*Her* weight is 1.306 kg and *she is about 16 cm long.

I hope some of you can help me finding out - if Rumba is a male or a female.

Rynke has been mating with her several times - but she allså mates him ?!

Nice looking leopards. I think they are a little young and small to be breeding already. Normally Leopards do not mature sexually until around 9 or 10 years old. I'm no expert, but both of yours look like males to me, going by the larger size of the tails. I'd wait and see what others think though before throwing in the towel. :D

Hello, Sorry to say, but I think that you have two males. I wouldn't necessarily bet money on it, so there's still a chance others will disagree with me.

I have to add, that you have a couple of beauties there.

Handsome leos you've gotten there.
Was wondering, do they look so blonde when they are young? Let's say, when they are around 3-4" in size??
Thanks mate:)

Beautiful leos! I am no expert, but I will guess that Rumba is a male.

Can you get a close up of the tail on Rynke? I have a female that has anal scutes like that, a shot of the tail extended like the last picture would help.

Thank you for all your answers..... but you did not write, what I wished for :shy::shy:

But I love Rumba, boy or girl.

It's funny to hear one of you think they are blonds - I myself think, they are fine and dark

And remember :

*Blonds have more fun* ;)[/u]

They are cuties for sure! I concur...both males. I guess the search is on for a female LOL. If you find one you want and aren't sure if it's male/female before you purchase, then post some pics on here to confirm.

Now we have given you the opportunity to expand your group by adding a female to the mix. At least that is the excuse I'd tell my wife to go buy another leo! :p

Thank you - you are so friendly and kind to me - it makes me så happy I have found this place.

YEAH !

I must find a little girl for my now 2 boys ;) - and it will be no problem, because I am a singlegirl - so no one but me makes the choise

I would like to ask you :

Do you know any books about leopard turtles ??

There are no books in Danish - and I only got one :

*Leopards- and African Spurred Tortoise*

Holger Vetter.

(english)

And I want so much to read everything about them - so I take the best care of them.

Hi
Hopefully some leopard tortoise owners will know of some books. I have a few books that mention a bit about their care but it would be good to know of books specifically on Leopards.

In the meantime you can look in this forum, there are areas for African tortoises specifically if you want to read some of the information there.
You can always post specific questions like you did here also.

have you checked Amazon too?

Thank you both..... I love to hear you think my leopards are cute - because I think the same.

I will look at the link you send me and ask the same there.

Maybe I should be better to find the right place to ask.... but it's all new to me - but now I have already learned to show pictures, because you are such good helpers... ;)
