This pair was captive hatched in May '00. I acquired at 4" in October '04

Male - 4.5"

These little guys.. from '07 confiscation.. on TSA breeding loan
Female top - 4" .. Male 3 7/8"

The adult female above has produced 2 eggs.. [ not fertile ] so only time until she lays fertile eggs.

Beautiful animals. I love the way most Stars seem to have patterns that create optical illusions. :)

A bunch of those TSA animals were dying from what I can only imagine was mycoplasma. Make sure that you have them checked out. I saw some of them here in Florida doing less than well. CYA Douglas Beard / Flora & Fauna

So sorry I did not look at when you had gotten them, I am fairly sure that if they are OK now you have nothing to worry about. Sadly when "bugs" run through tortoises they seem to do it in a fairly short order. That is on of the reasons that I believe strongly in a quarintine period of at least 3 months. Better safe than sorry. I had a friend years ago that bought 3 radiateds that had herpes and it killed their entire group. Best wishes Douglas Beard / Flora & Fauna
