Not eating Mazuri

Hi, my leopard tortoise is about 8 months old and whenever I offer mazuri diet, he never eats it.
What can I do to make him eat it?

Do you soak it in water first? Is it the old formula or the new? You can soak it then mix it in with food he likes. I would just keep offering it, he should eat it sooner or later.

Soaked and mushy? I've tried the old formula with pancakes, sulcata, and russians. I've never had any refuse it.

If your tort likes squash (ie yellow, zuchinni) you can take a disc of squash, core a hole thru it, pack the hole with mazuri. That way as he eats the squash he'll get some mouthfuls of mazuri and perhaps learn to like it.

My Red Foot refuses it too, lol. I soak it, mix it in his food, and he walks away but I figure eventually he'll eat it just keep offering it every few days.

try soaking it and mix it with a little mushed strawberry. then slowly back off the strawberry over time.
