Actually it is a old bed spread. That folds over the front of his box in the warmer months. I don't lock him up in the warmer months. He stuck his head out to get some fresh air.
Nice 😘 I love the picture.

Do he still doing this? 😅
He hasn't used sticks on a bush. Opo will dance if I scratch the back of his carapace also if I squirt water using the jet stream setting on the hose nozzle. I think most tortoises will do it. Some tortoises more than others.

The very first picture of Opo!
We were at the repticon show where we bought him. He didn't even have a name yet.
There were about 15 babies crawling over each other in the corner. Opo was on the other side all by himself.received_3778539249041166.jpeg

What a gorgeous boy he grew up to be!
You are a great dad!!!!
Thank you, Opo and I have a bond that is special. I am sure all tortoise owners do.
When we bought Opo, I had just got out of rehab/assistant living. After the accident, between hospitals and rehabs. I hadn't been home for 2 years. He was probably the best reason that kept my spirits up. Till this day I depend on Opo to help me through rough times.
They are truly amazing creatures.
