@Tom or @Yvonne G maybe able to help you here or @wellington.Hey, After washing my tortoise i notice a tiny tan-ish spot on Scooters leg. What could it be ?
I'm not sure I would want to do that with a tortoise that can absorb thru it's cloaca. If just the leg can be put in that would be fine.Try bathing in warm salt water as the vet once recommended that I do with Jacky.

I see what you mean I just bathed Jacky's wound.I'm not sure I would want to do that with a tortoise that can absorb thru it's cloaca. If just the leg can be put in that would be fine.
A picture that isn't blurry would help...Hey, After washing my tortoise i notice a tiny tan-ish spot on Scooters leg. What could it be ?
It looks as though that is a raw spot on the skin which has been caused by the leg rubbing on the sharp edges of the marginal scutes when the tortoise moves its leg a certain way. You can take a nail file and file down the sharp edges of the scutes. It won't take much to remove the sharp edges.Hey, After washing my tortoise i notice a tiny tan-ish spot on Scooters leg. my apologies, i heard it’s because of his shell’s ridges being to long and to file them down a little.A picture that isn't blurry would help...
