Outdoor pen help!

I would like to know how i could make a SMALL tortoise pen i live in britain and its only for about 2-3hrs aday if that (bcuz of weather!) i am 13 and obvs dont have aloot of money an outdoor pen at that matter very small for a couple hours a day that can be moved daily!!? Thanks ?

cinder blocks are hard and a pain to move around IMHO. I would go for a wooden cold storage frame (used for plant growth in colder months for seedlings). depending on the size of your tort just slap a couple of 2 by 4 to form a square they are light and easy to move.

If the tort is small you can use a childs plastic pool with some dirt and shade.

Tyler, Here is a pic of a simple to build low cost easy to move pen with no bottom.It is made from 1in x 6in x6ft fencing boards. Here in Virginia they cost $1.37 each, not sure of your cost but shouldn't be to high.I used drywall screws but could be nailed, and if you don't have a power saw they cut easy with a hand saw.Good Luck, Len
