Outdoor sulcata house

Just wrapping up my sulcatas outdoor habitat equipped with buried cinderblock house, Bermuda grass, irrigation, Terra cotta soaking dish, hydrangeas, petunias, Boston fern, banana plants, and low voltage led lights

That looks amazing, but as usual, I see a few potential problems.

  1. Store bought decorative plants are full of toxic systemic pesticides that last in the plant's tissues for a year.
  2. Sod has plastic netting and is also grown with all sorts of weird chemical too.
  3. I can't see the cinderblock house, but cinderblock is very abrasive. When used as a wall outside, its not too bad, but in a house type situation where they are going to be snuggling up against it, you'll need to line it with plywood or something to protect the tortoise's shell.
