Peanut turns two

Peanut turned two Dec 21, and clocked 1150 grams. She is still active and curious. Seems really content with her life, although she gets irritated if i rearrange her space.

I notice sometimes she eats her own poop. Not sure if that is normal or not.

Had to get her a dishpan for her new bath.

Happy birthday, Peanut!
They are such a joy, aren't they ?
Except when they eat their own pooh, which I'm afraid, is perfectly normal.
Most tortoises are coprophagous when given a chance.
Silly torts.

Thank you!! Its fun to watch her confidence grow and i hate to say "personality" but her natural tortie attitude change!! and she has attitude....stubborn..persistent..ingenious at times!!

Eating their own poop is not a thing to be worried about. In the natural habitat of these tortoises the need to eat everything that they can get.
I have read about a zoo in Germany that feeds their sulcata tortoises with poop of camels ! In poop there are still minerals and other useful things for a tort.
So don`t worry if your tort do this.
