It has been ages since I was last active on here-- I've missed you guys! <3
Penny has been growing like a weed, and is getting prettier every day, so I thought I'd share some pics. :)

For those who haven't seen, or don't remember, here's Penny, as a baby:

and here she is, now:

nearly 5", now.
What do you guys think? Does her growth look ok?
I haven't been as good about her showers as I could be; but a couple times a week is better than not at all, right? :p

I think your tort is growing quite nicely. Very white and smooth.

Showers? What about soaks? She looks great, so I think whatever you are doing is working well.

she HATES confined soaks, but she gives herself long soaks in her big bathtub, which is in her enclosure; she's FIERCELY independent, and has always thrown tantrums if you put her in a closed container for a soak-- even when she was a tiny hatchling.

Showers are Penny's favorite things, ever (aside from food), and will actually beg for them (after much trial and error, I finally learned what she was asking for). She'll find juuust the right spot under the faucet, lie down, and just let the water run over her.

We've learned the hard way that, because of the cold air in our apt, we just can't do much in the way of humidity for her enclosure. Back-to-back URTIs have taught us that. :(

I'm glad you guys approve; thank you so much for the kind words! :D
