Hey @makay1304 I'm also a russian tort keeper... Is it an indoor or an outdoor enclosure you intend to plant?
Outdoors ive got: two types of carex and astilbe for shade but they are also edible. Ive also got various tyoes of campanulas, geraniums, forget me nots and violas.
Indoors: ive planted spiderplant which is good for shade and uve also had various types of lettuces in there. Its hard to keep things growing with the heat. Hope this helps.

Theres a site called the tortoise table which has a database of plants and shows pics of plans that are safe and unsafe that you may check.if plans are being bought from a shop it is best to repot and leave out of enclosure for up to 6mths to get rid of pesticide or fertilisers that may be present.otherwise you may be able to buy grown plants pectiside free at a nursery or elsewhere. Otherwise you may have to grow your own or transplant/take a cutting from a pesticide free plant. Hope this helps!
