    Hi,

I have had 2 tortoises unexpectedly come into my care through my step daughter and I need help identifying them. I've been told that they're Mediterranean but not what type. The photos are of the biggest tortoise, the other one looks the same but is a little bit smaller. They're just under 3 years old and I'm not convinced that they've received the best care up until this point. I've never had tortoises before and want to make sure that they're happy and healthy. If anyone can help me identify them or provide any general tips I'd be really grateful.

    Thanks!

They are Asia Minor tortoises (Testudo graeca ibera) aka the “ibera Greek”.
