Hi, I have 2 red foot tortises both living together indoors and are fairley young, I got my first one posiedon sum time in January of this year *2022* and my second one hades sum time in September of this year, poseidon is fine he soaks himself in his bowl when he wants eats healthily walks around his tank and tbh even climbs his log hide for fun😐 but hades i just got i believe is a girl is a bit bigger then him and she comes out to eat she'll go to her water for a bit walk around a little then spends most her time in the log just either back faced to the entrance of the log or jus looking out, im a over thinker and worried ofc if maybe she's stressed for being in a new place, when I had got her she was with 2 other tortises already and ik were getting into the colder seasons so maybe shes settling down for brewmation but I think she's been doing this since I got her, again she eats perfectly fine I have em on a good well balanced diet the humidity is well I soak them at least twice a week and take them outside to stretch there legs whenever I can without stressing them out to much, if anyone has any suggestions lmk or just tell me im going crazy for no reason 🥲😭

You should not keep tortoises in pairs one gets bullied. Post pictures of the enclosure and hopefully @ZEROPILOT will be able to help you. Welcome to the forum.

I think a lot of the problem is because you're keeping two in the same enclosure (like was said above). Three or more works out ok, but two seldom does.

I agree that a pair of any tortoises is a very bad idea. Tortoises are territorial and in an enclosure they can't avoid each other. They can't stake their own territory or flee.
One will usually do ok and the other will stay smaller and become ill from subtle bullying. Occasionally bullying can result in physical harm and the loss of one of the tortoises. Neither tortoise will be "happy". It's not natural for them to be forced to share a territory with another tortoise and having just two means that every act of agression no matter how severe. Get directed at that one other poor tortoise.
3 or more CAN work with at least a 1 to 2 male to female ratio.. or all females. But to pull that off you'd need a very large space. Preferably an outdoors enclosure.

You didn't give us a lot of other information to go on. Your temperature. Your humidity. Type of lighting. Type of heating. Type of enclosure. General care and what you are feeding.
Get back to us with photos of your setup and your equipment and we will attempt to sort things out for you and your tortoises
