Not sure why she has puffy eye still I thought it was clearing up yesterday but this morning it still looks bad I removed her substrate and put down damp paper towels and I've been giving her 2 carrot soaks in the last 24 hours... the only thing left I could think of is the lighting I have two sources of light in there one is a 24in T5 high output fluorescent fixture and the other one is a incandescent 75 watt pet store bulb for Basking which I think also has UVB as well..... I cut the fluorescent fixture back to only 3 hours a day while the other one runs the full 12 hrs with no lights at night just a che to keep her nice and toasty between 84 and 86 degrees and the humidity is anywhere between the low 80s and the mid-90s on a constant....any thoughts???

I would rather see you leave the T-5 on and replace the pet store bulb with a CHE or RHP..

Well I use the c h e at night for heat because it's dark and to maintain Temps which I have it set for like 85-86 and the 75 watt incandescent bulb I have is used as a heat bulb for Basking but was my original UV bulb so that's what me and change the heat during the day which it gets 93 to 95 at the Basking Rock hopefully I'll be open to pick up a 65 watt flood bulb today as recommended by Tom getting harder to find those old school bulbs

Your enclosure may not be bi g enough to support such a large bulb.

well it's just a small bulb like a regular glass 60 watt bulb but it's 75 it gets the rock 295 degrees and it's at least 12 in or more above the Rock her enclosure it's like 39 in Long by 21 in wide and 18 to 20 in tall here's a picture of my enclosure with the lid propped up a little so you can see the incandescent on the right my Che is in the middle

If it were me I'd turn off the basking bulb you got from the pet shop for 2 days and see if her eyes get better. If that doesn't work then I'd do the same with the uvb bulb for a few days. A few days without UVB or a basking spot won't hurt your tort and maybe you'll be able to pinpoint what's causing it. If I had to bet though my money is on one of the lights.

That's kinda what I've been thinking...I picked up a standard 65w outdoor halogen floor bulb and see if that helps...but your right...for now I'll just use che turned up during the day for heat
