Hi all, looking for some help.
I'm worried Hitro is showing signs of pyramiding in her shell.
Hatched in 2008, any opinions or how to prevent progressing!!!!

One word humidity . If you have not read them go to the top of the sulcata section and read the threads it will tell you everything you need to know .

Sorry to tell you this, she is already a lot pyramided. Not a lot you can do at this age, but I would provide some humidity, maybe a humid hide too, to
choose if she wants along with her regular hide.

Do NOT use 80%+ humidity on a Hermanni. Give it somewhere to burrow, and maybe a humid hide. Humidity should probably be around 50-60%. Make sure diet, temperature and lighting is correct, and make sure the substrate does not extract moisture from the shell.
