I was wondering if anybody knew if the sprouty parts coming out from the center of the hibiscus flower is ok for desert tortoises ?

Hopefully I described the art of the flower well enough that you know what I'm referring too haha

I give all my tortoises the whole flower, sprouty thing in the middle with it. I just pull the whole flower and give it to them...

Thats what I figured, just wanted to make sure.

Ive just seen so many people pull the pedals off and only offer those, I was curious if it was because something was wrong with the middle sprouting part or just their preference

I pull the pedals for my hatchling but the bigger ones just get the whole flower. My large sulcata actually goes for the middle part first and the flower will be wrapped around his head...

Actually, in most flowers, the petals themselves don't have a lot of nutrition- most of it is in the middle part, the 'hips', and so on. (Doncha just love these technical terms!?)
