You really want me to do an honest rating? I amvery picky ya know. First off I would switch out the bedding. Those pellets can't hold moisture and when wet get moldy. When dry they tend to be dusty I believe too. Then there is the fact they don't give the right footing for the tortoise.

The lighting... even if those are the best lights and are keeping temps well, it looks like your making the UVB rays go through very fine mesh screen top. That fine mesh ends up also blocking out most of those good rays, so it's almost like no light being on for the UVB part. Which side has which light? Is the UVB light over the hide blocking most of the area for him to bask in?

Water dish: it looks small. Can he get his entire body in there to soak?

Hide: anything inside it like long strand spagnum to help hold in some moisture? Perhaps a damp sponge attached to the top of the hide?

Food: Gets a plus for being in large sections so he has to tear into it. If it's a part of a varied diet, not just his normal every day diet, then it would be okay.

Like that he has lots of room, but perhaps a few items to hide under (like plants or another hide), more contours to the substrate, maybe a branch or some flat rocks to climb on and over. Also love how clean it looks. :)

So there are my comments. Nice beginning but some minor tweaking to do. :)

The pellets is the worst substrate you could use. Replace them with coconut coir. It is also too dry. To raise a leopard to be smooth and not pyramided, they need humidity. Please read Toms threads below in my post for the proper care for your leopard. A quick review, your baskng temp should be 95+, all over temp no lower then 80 and this is with a humidity of 80%. Water available 24/7 in a slow sided large enough saucer type dish so he can get into it and a 20-30 minute warm water soak at least once a day. This should be done for at least a year. The food should be as wide a variety as you possibly can. Things like, spring mix, mustard greens, collard greens, endive, dandelions, Mazuri tortoises diet, optunia cactus pads, hibiscus flower and leaf, rose of Sharon flower and leaf, mulberry leaf, just too name a few.

I can't answer your pm, you need to go to your profile and enable the pm function. The major tweaks should be done ASAP on the enclosure. Like substrate, humidity, temps getting correct and making sure the UVB does not go through the screen and is not the coil type bulbs, as they cause eye problems. The adding of a larger dish, plants, et can wait until you have time or money to do so. Be sure to do the soakings every day too.

Everyone before me is dead on, petshops or a business like this makes more money when you you buy the whole setup. The problem is, do they really know what it takes to keep a tortoise healthy. Very smart of you to post your setup so these tortoise forum folks can fix it for u
