redfoot with diaherria

hello!

i just fed my redfoots some bananas yesterday and today cassie was covered in greenish diaherria. should i b concerned? i just gave her water today and my other tortoise is doing fine...

Iam not sure about the Greenish "D" ....but . nanners' .. should only be giving in very small amounts .. as a treat , or a food enticer for stubborn torts. I havnt had any problems ..like youve mentioned. Is there a colored cat/dog food around by any chance? Try some other greens and check with follow up.

I feed banana but it is mixed with other foods. I havent noticed diarrhea from it yet, maybe the mixing? However I fed mine all tomatoes once and he got diarrhea from them!

Bananas are a natural laxative for them. I know that when I get new torts in and they have blockage,they get a banana. That followed by a nice long soak awhile later and look out.

What did you feed 4-5 days ago.. that's the culprit!
