How long have you had the running nose tort? :D How old/what size is the tort? Is the tort housed alone or with other torts?

What type of substrate are you using? What type of humidity are you keeping the enclosure at?

If it were me, I would bump the basking spot to 95-100 and not allow the coolest area to be no less than 80 degrees...I would also make sure that you are soaking him each and every day in warm water soaks for at least 30 minutes....

Iv just had the same problem with my little Belva. Soon as I notice anything wrong I took her down to the vets. Something I couldn't see or hear, they can. It can be serious. Not too scare you! But she needed to be separated from her sisters, kept warm and meds everyday. If your lucky, you'll get to inject the meds, if your unlucky, you have to use a sirgyne :-( I find it's more stressful on the tortoise and yourself. Hope you guy is ok!

Can you hear the tortoises breathing if it has a click to it? This is how I tell if my little Belva is doing better or not. Keep us up dated!

This is usually caused by them being kept too cool at night. Can you tell us your four temps to see if we might be able to help a bit more by discovering what caused your tortoise to get sick? We need warm side, cool side, basking spot, and night temps.

Agree with ascott bump your temps up and warm soaks. Make sure s/he is eating. Generally this will take care of its self. If it gets worse where s/he stops eating, has thick discharge then I would see a vet. Just hydrate, and keep warm..
