This might be a dumb question, but is this the same stuff that's good to sprinkle on store bought food? I found the "regular" bag of salad style on tortoisesupply.com but their shipping is so high...

Just for others' edification, carolinapetsupply.com sells chopped up grass hay for you to feed to your baby tortoises. Its a pretty good product because its all cut up in smaller pieces. They call it salad style hay. I have both that and the one shown in KBisMe's link, but my torts don't like the other one. I usually set a handful of the Salad Style Hay in a bowl of warm water while I chop up the greens for the babies. Then I drain off the water and mix it in with the greens. Its a good way to get them familiarized with the smell and taste of grass.
