Shrimp dinner

Fed the hatchlings some shrimp tonight. Shell and all. I'd prefer the entire shrimp. I'm going to start breeding crayfish again. The babies are perfect size, and the turtles get enrichment chasing them through the tank.

That's a nice, tight looking tank.....good balance.......and the little guys get a super-treat....SHRIMP! WAHOO!

I used to try to balance green algae with tank temps....too warm would invite blooms over the sides etc...

LOL

Never had that problem. In the tank,.but it does accumulate on the basking dock. The turtles will naw at it.
