Hello All,

I am a new Sulcata mommy and I am learning about behavior. I don’t really know what is normal. I have a hatchling and we are trying to figure each other out. He obviously didn’t like his outdoor enclosure as it was too hot and seemed to attract mosquitos. So I made him a small temp indoor enclosure until it the heat passes. He seems to be sleepy and I am not sure if this is normal. He does eat, and when I put him outside for a walkabout in the morning he is active for about an hour, but that is it. Otherwise he sleeps. Is this normal? I keep the house at 83 degrees in the day and 81 degrees at night. Is this too cold for him, should I still have a heat source. If so what would you recommend, a lamp during the day, or a heated rock? There are so many options, just want to get what is best for him. Thank you in advance for all your help. I attached my indoor incloser, that is Bowser sleeping half in half out of his hut.
