Hello and good morning. The last time I posted something was about Fred making a wheezing sound or I don't know if it's really a wheezing sound when he eats. Well this morning while soaking Fred, it was like he was eating and chomping down which made it a smack or chomp sound I don't know how to explain it. Please help.

This definitely sounds like a respiratory problem. You probably need antibiotic injections to eliminate it. Do you have a decent vet near you who would give you the necessary medication and syringes? I would start with ceftazidime dosed at 20 mg/kg every three days. I would avoid using Baytril (enrofloxacin) as it causes a lot of pain and has to be given more frequently.

A quarter of it is closed. It's directly under
This species needs a closed chamber. The whole thing with all the heat and lights inside.

What is the temperature over away from the CHE? Respiratory infections don't just happen for no reason. They are caused. In most cases, they are cause by cool night temps.

That's what I thought to. But his enclosure stays hot. The only thing I can think of is when I take him from the tub to his enclosure. I have him wrapped in a towel but could it be to cold for him when I take him out of the tub 😢
