I got a Columbian instead. I went to a Repticon Show in Belton this weekend and there he was. Alone with a 8 yr old male yellowfoot sharing a 20 gallon tank.
He is 12 years old and is about 11 inches. I don't know much about the Columbain subspecies of Redfoot, so if anyone wants to chime in on sizes and weights for this breed.
I had to section off Sissy's enclosure for now, until I can get more cinder blocks to enlarge their pens. It is amazing though how from the top their shells look similar, but when they pop out thier feet and heads..you can tell which is which.
In keeping with the Urban Cowboy theme my niece started..I am calling him "BUD".
