To make a long story short...customer service sucks and I'm broke. I got a pump from Amazon(vivosun)three months ago. Worked like a charm. Last week the impeller broke on it. No big deal, ya boy got the year warranty. Contact Amazon, they can't help. Tell me to reach out to vivosun. I do, they send me diagrams to take it apart and clean it over a span of three days...sure. ultimately they say I need to contact Amazon even though they're the manufacturer. Amazon tells me to contact them, and a continuing saga. Tried to silicone the pvc together. It worked util it couldn't stand up to the rotation. I can fix it but I need to find something strong enough to get rid of some of this pvc so I can shove the other pieces in. It was 70 degrees 2 days ago, now it's 20 at night. So until I can get another pump I gotta fix this thing. Any ideas welcomed

Good luck! The general plan nowadays is that the customer service department no longer exists, just the Sales department.

So what's next with it?
There was nothing I can do. The rubber and pvc in the middle was too strong to drill. The company didn't have any spare parts so I found another pump on Amazon that seems to be really good for the price

I got a half dozen of these on sale at HARBOR FREIGHT for my various fish ponds.
2,500 gph each.
They're good quality. Maybe slightly over rated gph wise, but nice.

Definitely gonna look into that. I'm saving up to get a powerful enough generator just to run my pump. They're like a $1000 up

Anything with a genuine HONDA engine will probably last you a lifetime.
Any company that specs a real Honda engine isn't going to attach it to a garbage gen head. So it almost ensures you're buying a great unit. No matter the name on the generator

Spend the extra few bucks and it'll end up more than paying for itself.

My 16 year old 9,000 W HONDA/BALDOR generator is still behaving like brand new.
My 1.5 year old 12,000 W CHAMPION/Honda(fake) knockoff is falling apart. Everything made of plastic or rubber has crumbled and the thin steel parts are rusted. Including the fuel tank. It's unusable. And the smaller real HONDA unit actually has more power.
