Spotlight ot flood light

What would you recommend for a tortoise vivarium.
A UVA Spotlight or UVA Flood light.
What's the difference. My usual supplier only have arcadia spot lights in stock. Should I shop somewhere else and get a flood light.
I just want to get advice for my russian.

Flood light is better. Since it has a wider angle, it won't be as harsh on tortoise eyes and shell. @Alex and the Redfoot might be able to explain this better.

Spotlights throw the heat/light i a narrow beam which u dont want for the torts shell. A flood throws off a wider beam that spreads it out more evenly. U want to use a flood. Heres a pic to make it simple
