Goodbye!

This thread is a thank you to this forum. Day in and day out, I'd keep fighting with humidity and the lack of it would cause my Cherry Heads' eyes to close. I'd find her with shut eyes when the humidity was low. I had read the closed chamber enclosure thread - today is my first official day with it as I set it up last night. I am sad that I didn't do it sooner but very happy as today is the first day I could reach in that tank no matter what and find her with her eyes wide open. She already seems happier, so do I. I misted once at 5:30 this morning, and the lowest it got to was 72% humidity by 5:42 tonight. Now there is no more misting four times a day, and soaking her just in order for her eyes to open. S/he will still have her three soaks a day. Thanks to all of you for making a very happy tort and a happier owner :D now next week is the meeting with the tank builder for making her tank 2' x 4' ft and I feel confident about managing the humidity in there!! Thank you so much everyone!

I will! It will be filled with some live moss and will have live plants as well as a grazing area inside. I should have it all put together by the end of Feb.

Thanks for all the support here. There's so much knowledge here and I'm so thankful this site exists! Without it, she would of had an adequate life but I feel her life now is going to be exceptional. I look forward to facilitating a smooth shell and a healthy, happy long life. I love you all :<3::):tort:
