Is this what you are referring to? If not then I am having trouble finding it.No, same as the others. Those are cfl, compact fluorescent, coil bulb. You need a tube fluorescent, no bends. The long straight tube.

Sounds goodThis is the type bulb you need. Just be sure it fits the fixture you order. The length and that the fixture works with the 10.0 UVB T5 HO

Can I screw it on to wood? I noticed that it's meant for more of a terrarium.Yay, yes, that's the kind. Sorry, I should have posted a pic of one and saved you the work. Just wasn't thinking I guess.
Can I screw it into wood? I don't keep her in a tank. That's the right style light. Just be sure you get a uvb bulb. I will post a pic of the bulb
Yes. Usually tube lamp fixtures have holes for screws or little metallic clamps, which you screw in place and then "click" the fixture in.Can I screw it into wood? I don't keep her in a tank.
Ah thanks. I couldnt quite see it, but I'll order tomorrow.Yes. Usually tube lamp fixtures have holes for screws or little metallic clamps, which you screw in place and then "click" the fixture in.
You could check mounting guide (it's usually available on website). Anyway, you can use some plastic ties to fix it in place.Ah thanks. I couldnt quite see it, but I'll order tomorrow.
Update: It got hot. Just needed a little patience lol.The uvb light arrived and I set it up! It seems pretty good so far. I also installed the replacement heat lamp, but I feel like it's too cold. The hottest part is only around 85⁰. Should I change it back?
She's doing good! She has her appetite back and poops 2-3 times a week. The enclosure looks good. With the way I had to set up the uvb bulb I needed to make a "reflector" to redirect the light downwards. I used aluminum foil and it worked pretty good. She's been running around also, and I'll shape her substrate into a big hill for her to climb. I'm still feeding her spring mix but I'll order some feed seeds soon. She has the normal Russian personality so over all I think she'll be fine, she just didn't have anything to poop out. Lol!Good news! How's your tortoise doing? How enclosure looks now?
I couldn't get the uvb at an angle since the enclosure doesn't have a lid or lip. The light is sideways. The basking bulb illuminates a good chunk of the enclosure and my window normally has light shining through anyways. Also only 2-4 hours for the uvb? I've read that it should be on as much as the heat lamp. The fixture you was going to order had a reflector. Did you get another one?
And what about ambient light? (UVB lamp should be on for 2-4 hours a day, but you need bright lights 10-12 hours a day). Or just basking bulb gives enough light to keep your tortoise active?
