Hi can someone please give me advice my tortoise is sleeping a lot but eats like a pig he only comes out for 3to4 hours then sleeps

Tell us more about your tortoise, the temps, housing, types of lighting, etc...

24c 65 humidity
97 got it’s own heated water pond He seems very well
Eats and drinks well but just sleeps a lot he’s nearly 2 years

I don't know what you mean here. Please your info out in complete sentences with punctuation.

24c is too cold for a sulcata. 65% humidity is on the low side. What is the "97" in reference to? Heated water pond? May we see a pic of the enclosure? That will give us some insight.

The most common issue with this species is that people tend to keep them too cool and too dry.

basking lamp 95 f house 75f humidity 65 got he’s own pond in he’s house and he lives indoors atm dose that make any sense

You've got an open topped enclosure. Its too cold and too dry.

Our tort probably only spends about 4 hours grazing the property, walking the perimeter for intruders/mates and retreats to his massive burrow or under a trailer. I would imagine in the wild that they are only active as they need to be to eat and mate?

If be interested to know how long people who keep their torts outside to free roam property actually spend on the move.

I got a heater in side as well With thermostatic and sent pictures of he’s heated pool
