Hi....well the sunflower is an edible plant. The leaves and the flower are ok to feed, but only in moderation. Sunflowers accumulate nitrates from the soil.

Thanks for that,it's just my youngest decided to go plant some seeds whilst I was at work..lol

Lol, you obviously don't know my kids, they are everything but helpful,

My hubby said that we had to cut down on stuff as money is tight, and possibly sell things on EBay, so I'm goin to put the kids up for sale..:D:D:D:D:D

well....if they plant seeds i will be happy to rent them awhile....i have 1.25 acres and way too many seeds to get planted on my own....LOL :D
