Tallula's coordinates, for Danny?!

Ok, so I've finally weighed and measured Tallula
Danny, or anyone else, I just want to check that she is healthy and big enough/small enough etc.

Hahaha thanks Kate !!! She LOVES relaxing on the balcony in the sun, as you can see I still poke her when she lies with her head on the ground to check she's okay....I'm so happy she's happy. eating like a piglet, sunbathing, soaking. OH! That reminds me! I have a question....I always see people talking about their torts pooping while being soaked. Tallula has only ever pooped ONCE in the bath. Maybe she is too shy to do it when I am there?! I soak her twice/three times a week. Is this cause for concern?
I think I need to get a lighter substrate so as to see her poop more often!

Tallula is a star , she is really photogenic. It looks like she is saying, mommy, ok take one now, ok let me move my little cutie face to the right a bit ok mommy, take another pic'' I love tortoises

Hahahah Yeah that's exactly how she is I swear, she loves the camera !! I just love torts too. I'm totally in love with her, or so I've seen somewhere "tortally" in love
I love learning something new about her personality....she has even had a temper tantrum. Such a madam! We love her TO BITS!
Hermy is such a cutie too. I just love seeing pics! And taking pics of her. Nick says "My love, imagine how you will be when we have kids" Hahaha

I've only had Trevor poop a couple times in the bath. It's fine to not have them do that, as long as they are going regularly, although it is more common than not. I think it's a good thing actually as I've heard some people being worried that the bath forces the poop out too soon or something. Definitely makes bath time easier so you don't have to change out the water unless it gets cold. I find it kinda gross to clean up the wet turd anyways!

I've recently cut way back on soakings as my tort is going into his water dish to drink on his own a couple times a day on average. I just give him baths to clean him up a bit! I hate when he walks through his own poop.

2-3 times a week for a juvenille or adult tort is good. If Tallula goes into her water dish on her own to drink, you could probably cut that back even.

Hmmm well I'm not too sure how often she goes into her water dish, I can see once she's been in her water as there is more than likely some pieces of soil in her water, so I'll just carry on soaking her 2-3 times a week, just in case hehe. But thats great, I'm glad she doesn't poop in her water then haha, I would not be happy to clean up soggy wet turd LOL ! Good stuff So she is A-OK

Hermy does that sometimes, he walks in his poo and when I arrived home, I see his enclosure is fool of poo and he is too.
Stace, did you install the webcam? That way, you are going to see if Tallula goes in her bath often when you are not there.

Some torts poo more in the bath than others. I have two that have never pood in their baths. and one that poos every time. So it is fine if she does not Poo in her water. She sounds healthy and happy to me.
