This morning, I had some time and decided to take some pics of the herd. Lo and behold, I found a feral tort! He is the third for the year, must have missed that clutch. Here are some pics of him before and after his make over. Also included the pics of the others. Not everyone wanted to come out and eat breakfast this morning.

The rest of the family (some of them at least):

Oren, not appreciating the pictures but at least allowed one good shot

Thanks for sharing Allegra, what a beautiful group of hardtops!

You know the climates right when you've found 3 hatchlings wandering around the adult pen(s)...

Congrats, Great pictures!

* May ask if the cypress mulch outdoor inclosure foundation as any specific purpose, other than just choice preference?

(The reason i ask is i am considering trying an experiment this year with a few of our hatchlings on cypress mulch in an outdoor pen.)

We have such sandy soil, I prefer to have a barrier between the sand and the torts. The cypress is easy and looks nicer (when fresh) as you can see, I need to add mulch.

Love your torts. The baby looks much better in the after shots. But I bet he liked the before:)

Great photos as usual and beautiful torts! Any clue which mom that baby could be from?

Which two are the jailbirds?

Great pics and tortoises! I'm really happy I bought your last two hold back cherry heads this year. They are doing really great for me. Did they come from these adults?

It is quite orange, it is likely a Rambutan baby.

My Rambutan baby is quite the character (Mimosa) and I'm betting that rogue-hatching, little miscreant is too!

Yes. I'm glad they are doing so well and found a happy home.
