The runaway tortoise.

So today I took Squirt into the living room to soak her as my mum and dad wanted to see her, plus the living room is nice and warm
So after about five minutes soaking Squirt suddenly decided she'd had enough and started climbing out of her bowl. It's quite high (i need to get her a better soaking dish) so i helped her out and put her on the towel. Just to see what she did.

Well she sat there for a few moments and then she was off. Wandering around the living room. She must of explored most of the area. I kept a careful eye on her and made sure she didn't go near any wires or anything but it was so funny to watch.

She's really getting confident now. She put her head out when i'm holding her now and is happy to be out and about in her table when i'm watching.

I also weighed and measured her, or as i said in the care. "weisure"
She's 11 pounds and about 4 1/2"

Very nice looking leopard. I'm guessing you may mean 1.1 lbs. 11 pounds is pretty heavy for a 4 1/2" tort!

LOL. I just realized what i put!
When i did it i thought, that can't be right - I fail at maths, can you tell?
I think i'll stick to weighing her in grams.

She is 260 grams.
