This little one brumated outside with no issues this winter.
Freezing rain, snow, you name it.
This Is jaw, a little deformed hatchling I hatched out 2 yrs ago.
I like to keep them in there first year then let them brumate.
All you have to do is keep em dry and insulated. (He's with the man the myth and the legend).

Cute turtle! I too am interested in the box, and what you put underneath so they can't dig out.

That's fantastic DD as was the Sire and Bitc?? post that you get such great broods from!

I like the box you have...it's rat proof, what goes on top of it?

I made a giant screen lid. I wish I would've put henges on it because it's heavy. I use a board to cover the screen when it's raining.
