Hiya peeps, just wondering if I should be worried?
New tortoise owner and a worried one...so forgive me if this sounds daft.
I have had my little red foot for about 2 weeks..he has been shy but tonight was more playful and interested. He is only about a year or so old I am told (he is 8cm).
Tonight he did a little pooh while out and about in the bedroom I keep his home in..but then did a pee..like a big one! On my hand (little bugger)..then carried on. I haven't noticed him having any urates when he has a bath.. But this was a proper big pee...all over!!
Is it ok for him to pass liquid? Should I be worried...is there anything I can do or need to do.
Sorry if this seems a stupid post am probably just a neurotic new parent x

Thanks so much.. He was busy munching food from my hand when he pee'd. Perhaps he just thought "ooh I like this food so much but need to go pee..ah well have this daddy" lol.
Can I also ask.. Roughly how old would an 8cm red foot be? This is him.

Perfectly normal. Joe quite often seems to wee and/or poop during or shortly after eating. What goes in one end...
