Tortoise poops a lot

My tort is about 11 cm in plastron length, but I have seen something concerning. Every second or third day, he'll poop, but the poop is his body length and more. The consistency is fine, not constipated, but it is a lot. Is this normal?

That sound like about 3 days worth, as long as s/he eats well.

Make sure there is enough space and plant cover in the current habitat for free exercise (or make upgrades).

Try longer morning soaks to encourage exercise and daily excretion.

When my leopard was very young he would poop every day in his soaks and I couldn't believe how much each day came out of him. All sounds normal.

Yeah, he is attracted to mushrooms, like a redfoot to blueberries, and eats like there's no tomorrow, so I'm glad its normal, but let's not talk about earthworms, this is the face he makes at the sight of one
