Tortoise shell?

I just got this tortoise from one of my relatives, and I'm concerned about her shell?.. I would like some opinions. Also should she be this dark in color? She's a Russian..

It's not as dark as the picture seems to be, i had to use the flash and it made her seem really dark. I'm worried :/

She doesn't look bad to me. However, I only have one small male. I would give her some humidity or at least a humid hide. She looks a little dry to me.
